Guided Rhythm Journey

Drum-Supported Meditation & Inner Exploration

Thursdays | 8:00–8:30 PM ET
Online · Live

This evening practice is an invitation to step out of ordinary time and enter a quieter, inward landscape through rhythm, breath, and guided awareness.

Using steady drumming and gentle verbal guidance, we’ll move into a meditative state that supports reflection, insight, and connection with your inner world. Each session is held as a spacious container - allowing you to listen, receive, and notice what arises without force or expectation.

This is not about fixing or striving.
It’s about presence, curiosity, and remembering how to listen.

What Is Rhythm Journeying?

Rhythm journeying is a contemplative meditation practice inspired by earth-based traditions that use repetitive sound and focused awareness to support deep inward listening.

Rather than “traveling” somewhere specific, participants are guided to rest attention inward — allowing imagery, sensations, emotions, or insights to arise naturally.

Every experience is unique. Some sessions feel vivid and symbolic; others feel quiet and grounding. All experiences are welcome.

What This Practice May Support

Participants often describe experiences such as:

  • a sense of grounding and calm

  • increased self-awareness

  • insight into patterns, questions, or themes

  • a deeper connection to intuition and inner guidance

This is a reflective and experiential practice - not a diagnostic, therapeutic, or predictive process.

What to Expect

• A brief opening to settle and orient
• Drum-supported guided meditation
• Quiet space for inward listening
• Gentle closing to support integration

Sharing afterward is optional. Presence alone is enough.

What You’ll Need

• A comfortable place to lie down or recline
• A yoga mat, couch, or bed (choose what helps you stay awake and relaxed)
• Earbuds or headphones are recommended for the best sound experience
• A blanket or eye covering if you’d like

A Gentle Note

This practice is not intended to replace medical, psychological, or therapeutic care.
Please listen to your body and participate in a way that feels supportive for you.

If at any point you feel uncomfortable, you’re always welcome to adjust, rest, or step away.

I’m looking forward to holding this space with you - slowly, intentionally, and with care.
